Description

Collaboration BTT with talented Jalohauki for our small blue girls Ajattara and Routa.

Continuation for this:

"After Sydämenrohkeus ordered Kaiho to return back home, she fought hard against blue desert beetle who really wanted to devour her as lunch. She tried to buy some time to her kukuri, who was carrying little wounded pup to safety and she didn't want the beetle after them. Unfortunately the fight wasn't going too well for her, since in the middle of it the beetle managed to spot something else from the battlefield. A small, lighter but equally blue kukuri pup dashed away from the ruins, scared from her life when she saw the fight. Of course the beetle wanted to snatch her as lunch instead of fighting, kicking corteer. Sydämenrohkeus let out a painful sigh, before facing the beast and fighting now for the life of the pup, and herself.

The fight ended in massive flames that Sydämenrohkeus had breathed out from her throat. Light blue kukuri pup on her arms she ran through the desert, trying to reach Kaiho before he would reach the city. On her way she dodged the city guard warships and saw her beloved kukuri waiting her in the sewer entrance. She was wounded, blood pouring from the cuts the beetle have made, but she was concerned from the pups safety first. They managed to sneak inside to their safe warehouse apartment.
Inside, Sydämenrohkeus' most loyal companion, a large rook named Hanki, greeted them with a pleasure. He was acting more like dog than kukuri, licking Sydämenrohkeus' face and standing against her, pulling her close to his furry chest. However, this time corteer was too painful to just play with him, and she wanted to check the pups first. Both of them had nasty cuts all over them, and leg of droop-eared one was broken. Still, they both seemed very much alive, and very close. Light blue dove was happy to see another one alive and they rubbed cheeks together when they saw each other. Sydämenrohkeus did her best to treat their wounds and herself, before trying to make a friend with them. Hanki was a good companion, he seemed to ease the pressure of the pups, who really didn't know whether corteer was trustworthy or not. Soon the light blue one was trying to groom the older rook, while another blue dove decided to sharpen her teeth on bandages. Sydämenrohkeus didn't worry too much how she would be able to support two new pups around here; they were living with only a breadcrumbs, but it was relatively easy life. More feedable mouths meant always more hands in gathering the meal."

Jalohauki sketched, lined and colored and wrote down the story.
I shaded, made BG and made final effects and editing.

I am in love with this piece! The reason is because I want my art style to look something like this, a combination of cel and realistic shading. This piece looks like something out of an animated series which is why I really like it! Can you please tell me how you achieved the effects?
